- 2021
Due to COVID-19, 2021 was a challenging year for our orchestra, as for so many in perfoming arts. With some creative thinking and positive planning from our conductor and management team, together with staff at Shepparton Riverlinks, our much anticipated June Annual Concert was able to go ahead as a digital live stream. Due to restrictions, our rehearsal time was cut short, but we were still able to deliver a wonderful concert to the community and to viewers around the world. This has also paved the way for GVCO to perform digital concerts in the future.
2021 GVCO Annual Concert
2021 saw the GVCO hold its 24th Annual Concert. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the concert was restricted to being Live Streamed only. You can see the concert in full through our Riverlinks affiliate link on the picture.
2021 Chamber Concert Series Cancelled
The Chamber Concert Series we had planned to present at Eastbank on the last 3 consecutive Sundays in August has unfortunately been cancelled due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns. On a positive note, we do have new plans to deliver these concerts in a different way, which will hopefully be performed later in the year. Please keep an eye on this page for any further news.
